Harambee Radio & TV-Working Together For Progress

African Brothers & Sisters at home and abroad, for far to long many of us have been talking about Africa, repatriation, the upliftment of ourselves as African people, and the liberation of Africa and Africans around the world. We have created many organizations and institutions, we have hailed many of our ancestors works, words and deeds, we have blammed the system of white supremacy and yes many of our own have been far to apathetic, when it comes to our right to self determination and self reliance in taking our own destiny into our own hands. Africa has been calling out for our help and many of our Africans in the west have now traveled home to Africa at least once. When will we rise up and reclaim Africa our natural homeland and our own African identity, regardless to where we are in the world? Today in Feb. 2009, so called Black History Month, with a Black President now in the usa white house and with a beautiful Black family, our people as well as others are celebrating all over the world, yet Black children are still crying and dying all over the world and really our ancestors are still waiting and watching to see when we here are going to truly return to our ancient power in the world and liberate ourselves. As the 9th successor to the Right Excellent Marcus Garvey and currently the 10th President General of the UNIA-ACL, I ask you are you, we, ready to reclaim Africa, our own knowledge of self and address the issue of the Redemption of Africa in the 21st century? The U-NIA-ACL under my leadership is going to do all it can to address and solve this issue over the next several years, so that when we reach the year 2014 the 100th centennial year of the founding of the UNIA-ACL by Marcus Garvey in 1914, we can provide Africans at home and abroad with a renewed BlackPrint in keeping with the original goals and objectives of the UNIA-ACL and Marcus Mosiah Garvey. Are you ready? We surly will need you and all of those looking to help work to advance our cause? Are you already contributing and a member of a Pan African Nationalist group and plan of action? Are you knowledgeable of the fact the UNIA-ACL is a government for Africans all over the world? Up You Mighty Race We Can Accomplish What We Will ! Your comments, opinions and suggestings are most welcome. We/ I look forward to your input on this discussion, but most of all in taking concrete action. Africa for Africans at home and abroad. I & I remain to serve.

Brother Baye;

U must have read my mind. i was sitting here watching the O P(other peoples) Bama debaucle unravel with all of those so called colorblind folks he has in his cabinet(toilet) and i wonder if this brother even has a clue..> your words>

All of the travel, all of the talk, all of the blaming this person or that person, all of the disregard for our children, all of the disrespect and lack of support for our black men, all of the neglected african sisters standing in tears waiting for our men to come home from the other womans house, YES!!! all of the votes, all of the sacrifice, beatings, rapes, hangings, murders, whippings and tears..and yet many of us are still afraid to step out on faith still waiting for an OBAMANATION.
So, why are we still waiting for others to lead the way?
There will be no more El Che and Fidels ..no more...Malcolms, Marcus, Mandelas, Martins, ..no more... Toussaints Denmarks, Harriets, Ellas. Black Panthers like the origs et/al..it is now just ini..
Get real people!

In 2006 i told Ojinga khamisi from radio station 88.3 WAIF ..in Cincinnati that 2007 would be my year to leave amerikka..
However, it was not meant to be.. and now i overstand why...

this is also The month malclm was murdered..

MALCOLM X: A TRIBUTE TO A WARRIOR

On February 21, 1965. A Great Warrior, Strong Soldier, Dynamic Orator and True Defender of the Black Nation was Murdered, Taken away from us in a hail of bullets.

Bro. Min. Malcolm X was not just a black man repeating the words of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, he actually lived and breathed the words of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad. He stood up for black people at a time when it could've been "off with his head" at the hands of the white man for even thinking of himself as a man.

Bro. Minister deserves to be honored and remembered on the day of his birth as well as the day of his untimely death and that's what we here on The Black Fist Blog are going to do. As with Bro. Min. Dr. Khaild Abdul Muhammad, my time is limited this morning but believe me we are going to come back later on today and delve into the life of this beautiful strong black prince on the 44st anniversary of his death....

Yes it's been 44 long years since our dearly beloved brotha was so brutally taken from us but today we are going to remember the life and complete dedication of...Minister Malcolm X!

BaBa Kamal, Queen BoBo Empress,Maleka K, and PaPa Wabe, Give Thanks for your comments, committment, and true visions. We are in need of more practical application towards problem solving and its about the we ( I &m I) and not me, for its the 21st century and collectively we can, we must, and we will address the issues of our folks apathy, global white supremacy, and most of all consolidate our strengths in the 21st century. As we look around us there is more then enough work to do and the truth is we have far more resources then we have utilized properly towards self relaince and self determination. Our ancestors have done far more then us with less resources. We need each other and each one of us has something to offer the next. Our children and future deserve a lot more then we have accomplished. Each of you stay strong and as aware and prepared as you are. Continue to reach out to others for our ancestors in spirit are still waging the fight for us. Lest we ever forget them and their works, words and deeds! Forward ever backward never!

Uhuru, Appreciate this dynamic. If we may I saw Heru in the recent Garvey's Voice he mentioned something about we will never be free if we are still part Christian's. How do we interpret the activities if one is to grow in Leadership if they call themselves Christians? Can a true Afrikan be Christian i.e. a die hard in today's sense. Not a Nat Turner Christian. It just seems as Heru said that somehow there are limitations to Christian indoctrination. It's scary when we realize that a large % or 78% according to Amos Wilson's book are Christians.

Yes my brother, the time is now. I an I down in the scattered isles doing I an I best to keep up the struggle. We are about to launch a multi-purpose cooperative within the rastafari community so that we can consolidate our resources and enhance our financial position to facilitate our Repatriation. Little by little we must overcome one day. Ashe.

Peace and Prosperity to all,
Buy land or get it donated. Build houses, grow food. Contact Bro. Azibo who has already made this sacrifice and for 15 years he and his wife lived in trailers, cleared land and built a geothermal/solar powered home on their 93 acres of land and has extended an invitation to only five families to come share in the land and the work. Two families so far. But the point is he is willing to teach and guide others in the process.
So many of us are suffering from the "waiting for" syndrome. Waiting for one or more prophet to come save or rescue us. That is transferred to waiting for someone to give us a way out, tell us a way out , show us a way out or take us out. Then if it does not work out, we can BLAME that someone else. That is one of the many symptoms still possessing us from slavery. It is time to let go!..Do not wait until you see the flood, or feel the earthquake or the fire. It will be too late then.
Go with the program that suits your passion. The ancestors have given us this brother and other brothers and some sisters and so we can build with someone!. That money that we hold onto is fading in the sunset. Look at the houses that are now gone, not to mention the jobs. Those houses will not stand for a second mortgage now, because they are GONE!
Dr. Ben is currently in a rest home, Dr.John Henri Clark, Dr. Asa Hilliard, Dr. Jacob Curruthers, Oba Oseigeman Adefunmi, Cheik Anti Diop, Nina Simone, Queen Mother Moore, Miriam Makeba and countless other openers of our minds have made their transitions and we are still, as many in their generation were, trying to make up our minds over who to trust! Trust your self. Trust your indwelling intelligence. Get to gettin' and make the plan work. Brother Aziibo got tired of waiting and went on to take care of business with just him and his faithful Sister, with GREAT sacrifice. He is online at Vanguard Ranch.com. Give him an invitation (with compensation, please) to come and speak with you. Get your land, here, in South America, in Afrika, but get it and do for self.(Elijah Muhammad)
With loving energy,
Peace and Bless-sed Love,
Queen Mother Ayaba Bey

Yes Queen Ayaba, I too ahve a solar cabinet in my own yard growing year round food and others do too. This is great and we shall get in contact. We have 135 arces at Noahs Ark in South Carolina, 500 acres in Belize and ther is much more and many moving forward and using positive and creative ways and means. Your words and thoughts are great. many are called but few are chosen to lead by example. Shall be in touch and in tune for there are many now focused and working towards self relaince and self determination. The time is now to close ranks and reach more, One Love, BaBa Senghor
